3D Encaustic

Weekend Workshop

We will be employing basic structural techniques for creating 3D forms either in free form or in relief on panels.

Materials will include plaster gauze, wire, and fabric or paper. Structures will be  created and embellished using encaustic medium.

Surface encaustic painting techniques will be explored and images applied to the finished structures.

You will develop a strong sense of what is possible with this exciting medium in 3D and leave with the foundations to develop and continue in your own style.
